Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin visited Olimpiyskiy...

During the inspection of the reconstruction of the Olimpiyskiy multifunctional complex, Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin assessed its future role in the life of the city. "Today "Olimpiyskiy" is experiencing its rebirth. It will be one of the largest multifunctional complexes in the world, including sports, entertainment and cultural functions. There is still a lot of work to be done, but at the end, I think it will be one of the most unique and attractive centers for Muscovites and guests of the capital," Sergei Sobyanin said.

The updated multifunctional complex, the project of which was developed using 3D models of structures taking into account framings, materials, climate and other factors (BIM-information modeling technology), will place four key structures on its territory with a total area of more than 850 thousand square meters: the main building, Aquatic Center, Sports & Recreation Center (FOK) and a Small Concert Hall.

During the renovation, high-tech industries are involved: for example, with the help of a specially created set of equipment, unique elements for the ventilation system are produced. And in the robotic workshop, the production of the necessary internal and external elements has been adjusted to create a unique facade shape on the territory of Olimpiyskiy, which have high energy efficiency and can significantly reduce the carbon footprint.
