Visit of the Russian Ministry of Sports delegation to Olimpiyskiy

On February 1, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Azat Kadyrov with the delegation visited the Olimpiyskiy multifunctional complex. During the visit, representatives of the Ministry got acquainted with the concept being implemented and the sports opportunities provided within the framework of the project.

A special tour of the facility was conducted for the delegation from the Ministry of Sports, during which they were able to get acquainted with the progress of work, as well as the advantages of the future complex and innovative solutions used in its reconstruction.

After commissioning, there will be more opportunities for sports in Olimpiyskiy. Visitors will be able to practice more than 40 sports disciplines, including football, volleyball, lawn tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts, fencing and many others. Special attention will be paid to water sports, for which a water complex with 15 pools, including Olympic swimming and jumping pools for large-scale competitions, is set aside.
