Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin: Olympiyskiy is a Mega-Megaproject

In an interview with Moscow 24, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin discussed the future of Olympiyskiy following its reconstruction. He stated that the project will create a multifunctional complex of over 800,000 square meters, featuring venues for concerts, sports, and entertainment, with no analogs in Russia or Europe. He described it as a “mega-megaproject” that will become a hub for entertainment and sports for Moscow and the entire country.

Sobyanin emphasized that such a large-scale project is made possible by private investors. The renovated Olympiyskiy is expected to open in the coming years.
