Russian Aquatics Federation: Unrestricted Training Access at Olimpiyskiy

MFC Olimpiyskiy will retain its key mission: it will be accessible to the general public while also serving as a modern training base for professional athletes. The project includes the development of a large-scale Aquatic Complex - a standalone building with a total area of 243,000 square meters. It will feature 15 swimming pools, an Aquapark with Surfing center, and a wide range of other facilities.

“It is essential that athletes representing aquatic sports continue to have unrestricted and free of charge access to training in modern, high-quality facilities. If Olimpiyskiy is prepared to become a training base for professional athletes and to manage its infrastructure in partnership with the Russian Aquatic Sports Federation, such a step can be viewed as a meaningful contribution to the development of swimming in Russia,” the Federation’s press office told Match TV.
