Moscow Mayor Visits the Olimpiyskiy Multifunctional Complex

On October 27, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin visited the Olimpiyskiy Multifunctional Complex, a major redevelopment project with a total floor area of 1,000,000 m². During his visit, he reviewed the progress of reconstruction and learned more about what the complex will offer once complete. The complex will feature facilities for more than 40 sports, concert venues with capacities of 12,000 and 3,000, and spaces for leisure and entertainment. Moscow’s mayor described the new Olimpiyskiy as a “gigantic, world-class megaproject.”

Reconstruction is entering its final phase, and soon Olimpiyskiy will bring together elite sport, music, and leisure in one place!
